Obstetrics and Gynaecology is being taught as a subject for the duration of one year in the curriculum of Yoga and Naturopathy. This subject includes two specialities – Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

Gynaecology furnishes extensive knowledge over the diagnosis, prevention and management of all aspects of female reproductive health from the onset of puberty till her old age. Obstetrics enlighten the students with knowledge about pregnancy and its various changes in pregnant women. Obstetrics guide the students to follow safer methods in assisting and managing various phases from pregnancy till childbirth and provides detailed understanding on post delivery care.

We have been teaching students with audio video visual aids and with various module of reproductive system. In our college we have been providing practical classes on obstetrics and gynaecology in a reputed Government Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Egmore. Students also get trained at Institute of Gynaecology, Egmore during their one year C.R.R.I programme.
